York County Audubon is pleased to announce that we’ll be hosting a bird walk each month in a different location. The April walk will be at Goose Rocks Beach in Kennebunkport, on Saturday, April 18th from 9 am to 11 am. We’ll be meeting at the parking area beside the Goose Rocks General Store, which is just before the intersection of Dyke Road and Kings Highway. We’ll hope to see some Piping Plovers, as well as a variety of shorebirds, early migrants and year-round resident species.
Beginning birders are most welcome. We will be happy to introduce you to the joy of birding, if you’re new to it. More experienced birders are most welcome as well! Please bring binoculars if you have them, but we’ll have some to lend if you don’t.
These walks are provided at no charge and advance registration is not required
